Thats funny the Cologne engines are known for being kind a tank in the U.S.
Seems like siamese heads run good modified up. I tried to find some here before I worked on the U.S. versions to make my headers easier.
The 4.0 runs well. None of the thinwall casting engines do well if they get hot, but if you keep it cool I've heard they are very reliable.
T-5 tranny. What is a type 9?
This is the U.S version, 3 exhaust ports, built in Germany. All 2.6, 2.8, 2.9 4.0L were made in Germany.
