It's not pictured but it's a sandwich flange, there's one on the inside of the frame that gets welded to the snout and the outside is a stainless...

[ATTACH] Got the fan mount generator fitted, we machined off the front and rear mounts that originally mounted this gen, not sure what it came...
[ATTACH] Also picked up a mill/lathe combo, not very often a piece of machinery like this is seen coming through the woods.
[ATTACH] Went on a road trip up to the bridge and picked up a quarter panel, only catch was we had to buy everything. Garage sale coming soon...
[ATTACH] F1 front shock mounts cut and located using the two front crossmember rivet holes.
[ATTACH] Ended up boxing the rear of the frame where we stepped it, 1/8" plate cut to fit inside the frame.
[ATTACH] The new half "k" member did the trick, no pedal movement. We currently have a 39' clutch arm but the geometry of it doesn't quite fit...
[ATTACH] After bolting everything back together and hooking up the clutch it was evident the three bolts at the crossmember were not going to be...
[ATTACH] Glad these welds will be mostly hidden :oops:
[ATTACH] After seeing how much the radius rod mounts flexed under load we decided to make some gussets in lieu of boxing a section of the frame.
Yep, you just inspired me to keep the originals on my A.
