The Jalopy Journal
Looks good!
You list front quarter panels with ribs and smooth but there are no pictures. Could you post some up?
Nice video. Its nice to see some of the parts I need to order. My only feedback is, not sure if its my connection and buffering speed or the...
Looks like it would be a cool mod and be different than the standard 54. The hard and expensive part would be sourcing the trim.
Just found this photo while browsing. I think it looks really sharp! Anyone else besides this guy try it? Are the bodies close enough to make this...
I'm sure price would be different... but isn't there anyone else out there that makes a performance shock that could fit? Fox, Bilstien, QA1 etc....
Some things cannot be unseen!
Mine was simply tossed in with hose clamps to make sure it fit inside the frame and such. I have yet to attach the links or bar. I will be curious...
It is off center. If you see the sway bar compared to the cover, its pretty obvious. Mine is a trac-loc, but not all are. You can also beef up...
I am pondering using the Muggyweld.com solder to attach them. You can solder/braze cast to steel with it and it has a 350 degree melting point....
The rear is a 92 Ranger 8.8. Its a bit narrower than the Explorer. Downside is, the Ranger is 28 spline while the Explorer is 31. However, the...
As soon as I get the floor pans repaired and painted, I can drop the body back down onto the frame. Currently it is sitting on 2" blocks for extra...
Great pics, thanks for sharing! That Nash was out here at Viva Las Vegas just a couple weeks back. My wife loved the interior!
You guys have some nice stuff. Hopefully, I will be putting in a big order for my 54 in the near future!
Welcome!
Do you have the similar panel for a 2 door?
I have been really working on the 54 lately and want to have it driving by next spring. Besides spending hours and hours scraping the undercoating...
Welcome! Cool project!
Thats a cool old gasser!
I went out and looked at mine. They are marked on the inside with a sharpie, 1954 and are 12 1/2" long.
Actually, we are just talking about the 3 side spears that mount on the front of the quarter panel, right behind the door.
Anyone have a measurement?
Interesting... I have a set I was going to put on my 54... not sure if they are 53's or 54's.
When I bought the kit, he claimed I could use my stock column and he made an adapter to make the horn work. I dont know if he was full of it and...
That's my question... How did Wurthit do it? He had a kit and my kit was missing the horn pieces. Obviously, he isn't around to ask anymore. Who...
I got my kit years ago from Wurthit. I never got all of my parts and he would not tell me how his kit was doing it. So I have an incomplete kit...
Sorry Texas... No other photo of a Ranchero.

Went to a couple shows in Vegas this last weekend. Not all fit in the 52-59 year range but I tried to share some great Ford and Mercs. Enjoy!...
