When my muffler came a part it didn't sound that great. I replaced it with a turbo muffler, not real loud, decent tone.

The truck does feel like it pulls good through the gears. I plan on doing a five speed swap one day, but for now it works sometimes . LOL....
Your engine looks to be a 261 because of those "CAPTAIN BARS ". I have a 261 in my 50 it's so much better than the 235 I had ! The truck has loads...
I am running a 261 with a 235 head , in the 50 Chevy !!! Loving every drive I take with the 50 !!!

I took the 50 out for a run. What a difference the right intake and exhaust manifold make !!! This 261 has some serious power now !!!

I was woundering what these exhaust and intake manifolds came off of? I have this one on my truck know, 3835527 for the intake, the exhaust number...
I thought I read they have two part numbers, one car bell housing and the for the truck. I could be wrong though.
