The manifolds are actually 8 separate flanges for the exhaust and 4 flanges in between for the intake, that's why I wanted separate flanges...

If you still have the str8, a front opening hood will make it difficult to work on the motor.
The Matco type is the one you want. If the Autozone one has a tapered point on the end it will split the spindle!!
There are also adjustments you can make to the hood/fenders to allign it better. Get yourself a Buick shop manual. It explains this and a lot...
