[img] I love this one! Plowboy, does this give you any ideas??????
The truck looks good in his avatar, so whats with the "rat" hood and "bling" wheels, now????????? Pick a build style and stick with it!
Still, the pvc has got to be the strongest part of that car, and when the car dies, he can plumb his toilet with it!
Here's a couple glamour shots of my 57 M-M. [IMG] [IMG]
just got to bump the Mopar roll-call to the top.... mine are as follows: 47 Dodge p/u, 48 Plymouth 2dr sedan, 49 Plymouth business coupe, 76 New...
It's a Tolkien reference (yes, I'm a geek), nothing to do with 60's kitch or rat rods.
Wow! I searched them and found a good bio (check out their little sister!). http://indorock.pmouse.nl/tielmanbrothers1.htm [IMG]
Just like it is, only chop it. You said it in your signature!
I'm such a hack! I'd like to have about 1/4 of that talent and maybe 1/2 his tools. :)
VERY COOL! Very close to my all time favorite big Mopar, 68 300. This is the only pic of the one I had as a kid. Hope to have another one someday....
I've been inspired by the 62-66 Chevy p/u thread. My favorite Mopar trucks are the 61-71's. I've owned several over the years, but none were very...
Yeah, it's got baffles. I've noticed a lot of interesting parts on old farm equipment. I also grabbed a tank from an old Massey-Harris tractor....
I'm still gathering parts for my 47 Dodge truck. How do you think this tank will look mounted in the front of the bed? It's off a Model 55 JD...
Here's another view. [IMG] Ever seen these before?
Yeah, you might start a faux bare-metal trend.
Probably the guy's other car!
I've had these things forever but I've never had just the right car for them. Anyone ever seen these before? I am guessing they are after-market...

Absolutely perfect!!!!!!!!
Isn't it weird how all vdubs smell the same! I always liked that about them.
I love that engine. I bet it would look boss with those valve covers (all 8) chromed, stacks on the dual carbs and sitting in a hoodless roadster!
I've often thought the rear roof section of a 94-97 lhs Chrysler would look good grafted onto a shoebox. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe someone could...
It just needs a little updating. Maybe flat black with airbrushed rust.;)

I would buy it for $350 in a heartbeat, if it were a LOT closer. :)
The shaft of light down from heaven onto the pile of crankshafts makes me weep with joy. That place is incredible!!
I don't know,.... put the axle where it's supposed to go and it would be a cool little ride.

Looks like about about 5 minutes of engineering and about 6 hours of drunken fabricating to me. I hope nobody gets killed when that thing comes apart!
