I have 54 Merc with 302 and auto( c4), does anyone make a trans linkage for stock column shift?
I cut down my 3 speed steering column, I took 2 inches out of the middle. Easier than it looks.
what year is the intake, or what part number is it?
I have 2 mercs and that was the poorest looking 54 I have ever seen
I think just 55 and 56. Mercury might be the same. I saw there is one on Ebay today

I have installed 2 in my 54 Merc. tested in the driveway and worked great, didn't work so well when I needed them. wiped across windshield 1 time...

If you did not have power brakes before the conversion, make sure you have enough vacuum
