It for adjustment. The centre hole/bolt acts as a pivot.

Nope,i made all my sub rails. Got my Cowl all sorted and doors hung and gapped. Then worked back from there.
I assembled mine from a combination of Original parts and Repro. It is a lot of work but it's kinda fun as well. It really depends on your skill...
HQ wagon and they decent steel to work with. Unlike the later model shit..
I used a Step Drill with a 7/8 drill as it's final cut and drilled right through. Worked perfect.
Paint the body black should sort that!
