Yip, thats the hi tension side. Put the coil back in and engine fired up first time! Might be an intermittent fault with the coil?

Resistance on coil is 0.9 and 4.2k, MSD spec says should be 0.7 and 4.5k, does this mean the coil is defective. Thanks for helping.

I put some PTFE tape on the water sender then took it off as I realised it was acting as an insulator. No tape on them now.
I have wired up the water and oil temperature gauges and the gauge readings are too low / non existent. Using a multimeter there is a 12V reading...

Mark Thanks, the angle of the rumble hinge looks like a channel would be there but sounds like there is not one! New floor for the rear came...
My coupe does not have a rain channel which I think must be fixed to the inside face of the rear centre panel otherwise rainwater from the lid...

Wired up a Wings water temperature gauge with new sender unit to the flathead, good power to ignition side but gauge reads 240 degrees and does...
