Its real easy to drop when installing and bend the expansion tank flange when tightening bolts and thermostat wedged between. Check the straighness.

If its leaking thru the threats it leak petrol in the intake all the time.

Blowing air isnt always enough, you gotta use correct size drill bit to open those air bleeds out with all dirt.
You sure pw isnt bottoming out? Sometimes i used double gaskets to prevent that.
