The Jalopy Journal
Look again...
He said "FORMER" -60, maybe turned it into a -61...:D
Lookin forward to the update!
Very nice! Looks really good with the black steelies, would probably look even better with chrome rev... Engine looks great too & a nice stance,...
Damn, I really liked this stance a whole lot better...
I've almost forgot how good those wheels look, being the old style with the right tires! Have seen too many ugly ass "D - spokes"...
Oh, yeah Lee Pratts -58 is pure sweetness...
Here's a couple...
Totally agree!
Try 60's...;)
1954 Buick Electra...
Found it! Not my idea of "tasteful", especially not the rear treatment... Custom Rodder July -61.
Rik, you're absolutely right! I'll see if I can remember which magazine & scan it, but I had this front wiew pic saved...
Yeah, don't take that route... Otherwise sweet truck, looks good now & would look even better a little lower (nose down).
Here you go!
Love this one!
I do think they were out in -63 actually... Anyway I think the early ones (up to ?) had a little different rim profile than the later. Anyone else...
Could'nt agree more! Have never really seen a chopped 49-52 that I've liked before, great work! And please don't go with skirts, keep it...
Yes, it's sweet!

Found this yesterday while googling... Thought it looked so cool, nice & subtle. The story makes it even better, check it out!...
Yes, -50 was the first. And all the trunks were the same...
Nads, I think that one was a -64.
Nice pics, & nothing OT about them.
From the excellent Andy Southard "Custom cars in the 1950's"...
EEEh, a definate "no brainer" KEEP THE 32!!!
Fleetlines are nice! But: add brightwork around the windshield, lose the glass tint & bumper horns, maybe a little lower in the front... NO pin...
Looks nice & clean, love the color! What's the plan?
It's a 121 alright, judging by the grill 61-64...
