im doing a sbc in a 57 now... using a round type drop front mount..im welding it in too make it a crossmember... I cut the mid crossmember out so...
for a home shop theres nothing wrong with lowes or home depot... about a grand top and bottom. no need to go 5,,,6 grand for pro...
