I found an October 2012 obit for a Joe Grey from Buna TX. He has a son Joseph who is also from Buna. Don't know which one your after, but there is...
Muffler Man, I agree with you about how much better your car would look without front brakes and you could possibly get it to stop with rears...
My bad. There is a clone/tribute car with a aftermarket tube axle (not '37) and hair pins I had been studying. I stand corrected.
I believe if you will check it out you will find Ivo's had hair pins .
I've got one in my roadster. I disguised it hoping nobody would know.
Take a look at the Ivo "T".
Wow, great vision and execution.
Mine is covered with upholstery material.
Won't ever work. Replace with SBC like everyone else. Sell motor to me for scrap. LOL.
Love the hood, lower shock mounts and the top tab being sawed off it says "real deal" to me
The real kicker here is the pinion being threaded to hold the yoke on vs the splined pinion with a hole for the pin that holds the driveshaft on.
My vote is that it's the same car. Bobbed rear fenders, nerf bars, rear leafs, I'm convinced. Now the easy part is done. Good luck hunting.
Last year for splined was 1952, 53 up has pinch bolt.
Been studying Gemmer box # and best I can tell 3cc 031 is 57 F100 while 3CC OO31 is 56 f100. I am under the impression that the main difference in...
Isn't one of the high end operation when machining race motors to index the cylinder bore to the CL of the crank? Wonder if its been done to a...
I tried this on a dirt car years ago. Becareful with your plumbing so as not to have air locks in the system. If pulling air from under the car,...

I'm a snob and don't like model 40's with '32 grilles but I love this car and thanks to the great looking hood the grille looks great on this one.
Have been involved with 3 and wouldn't consider anything else. All original steel bodied cars- '26 &'28 sedans plus '32 3w.
FWIW- Back in 1963 I worked for Chuck Tanko at Fresno Speed Center. We sold what we called Bell Drop axles that were made in Fresno by Ron...
Amen.
I use PVC but an ex-inlaw in the PVC business warned me against it even to the point of offering to give me the black pipe to replace it.
Scratch this brain fart, Corvair box to short on the housing and sector shaft.
Thanks.
Buy his book before you buy anything else.
I will probably use an F-1, which I have. My roadster cross steers with a Corvair and I cross steer my 3W with a Vega. I'm building a flathead...
Vega is reversable?
Justly so.
Curios if anyone has tried using a Corvair steering box with the modifications that seem to be fairly common when using F-1 boxes in '32 frames...
