The Jalopy Journal
Welcome from around the corner somewhere in San Berdoo.
I admire your HAMBness! Good luck!
What's with the color change on the engine? I'm confused . . .
Thanks, I'll check it out.
The reports of Gennie Shifter's demise have been greatly exaggerated. But on the other hand, the reports of poor quality Hoffman Group products...
I sent a little. Hope that it helps ease the pain.

Please, let's not forget Bob's title: Emperor Bob Hudson. ("GET OFF THE FREEWAYS, PEASANTS. HIS HIGHNESS IS COMING")
I also remember the excitement of the new models, but my friends and I were ahead of the game, because at about age 14, the dealership's owner's...
All of you guys sayin' "WOW" reminds me of a girl that I once knew, who had a "W" tattooed on one cheek of her butt, and a "W" tattooed on the...
Love those hubcaps.
And may you have Too Much Fun!
I kinda doubt that the wheel-hop caused the arm to bend. Rather, I'd guess that you had hit something like a concrete parking stop earlier and...
Geez, nobody mentioned Bob Tindle's Orange Crate?

Next time, go for the real stuff. Jim Gordon at Antique Ford Parts in Rosemead CA has a giant spool of NOS Packard 440 wire. (626) 288-2121.
Wonderful story, wonderful. And that picture on the rolloff is a keeper. Thanks for posting.
To: Noob in Noob Hampshire: Cool car, and welcome to the HAMB.
Bob, I gotta work, otherwise I'd be there. Oh well, maybe next year. Thanks for the invite. It's great that you put this on.
Another vote for Mazooma.
Don't forget the 4-holed disc that goes under the flywheel bolts to hold the dowels in.
I HATE reserve auctions. I'm not gonna bid.
I have "Magic Nuts". They replace the castle nut and give you more openings for the cotter pin. I believe NAPA carries them for 4x4's, but they...
Any good muffler shop should be able to make them for you. Then get them hi-temp coated.
My favorite '32 ever. It is also available in Hot Wheels, with a flopper body.
