A Mallory distributor with Pertronix insides works well for me.
My Model A with a flattie is like that, too. I replaced everything in the chassis and it still leans. Oh, well.

re: "30-31 slant window Ford sedan", I believe that these were 1931 only. And it's a town sedan, model 160-B, Murray body (arched window tops).

Any good muffler shop should be able to make them for you. Then get them hi-temp coated.
My favorite '32 ever. It is also available in Hot Wheels, with a flopper body.
