Was doing search about Hot Rod issues. And the HAMB was the only one that had real answers.
Measure how long the king pin is. That will tell you the year-group. Thunderbirdesq said it may be a cut-modified. The king pin mearure will tell you.
Long as you don't run out of shock travel, it shouldn't matter. IMO, the only advantage between long or short is, which one fits your set-up best.
