its a 57merc m100 with a 69 429/c6/9in rear
are merc trucks in
if the front sump is a problem check out 76 and earlyer bronco oil pan they have rear sump
i moved the front forward 1.5 in and the back stock
you should not have to cut your fire wall .iput 429in my 57 no problem and a rad from a90s explorer fits well front clip in mine is 69 marquis

the front bumper is from a late 80s ford van that i narrowed 4 in on each side and trimed the top to match the contour

i used front clip-engine-trans from a 69 merc marquis-429 c6
i put a 57 f1 on a 74 bronco chassis . ihad to lengthen it 18 in in the center and 10 in at each end for the bumpers here are some pics
i love mercs,looks like a good start
the paint i used is cil royal blue marine enamel with flattener added
i`m running 12.50x33 in tires-my rpm at75 mph is 2700
the 429 in my truck is stock with 365 hp runs great and decent gas milage with 308 gears
i have a 60 grille if your interested
