Check the rear brake hardware..Return springs ? Hydrabooster may have residual built in..Bypass it and see if they stay free...

Got Power ? Rebuilt 350 set back 6 1/2 inches sitting on the new heavy wall tubular engine cradle with new motor mounts...[ATTACH]

Another Hamb to the rescue post .....saw a cool video where you tighten the bolt...then tap it with a hammer, then tighten it a bit more to assure...
Use the wood and spray or apply to the underside undercoating....my avatar had wood floors and I made new ones out of plywood....

Engine setback 6 1/2 inches..bolted in ..first time ever everything clears...plenty of fan to radiator clearance ..[ATTACH]
[ATTACH] Engine installed in and steering column fitted..Got lucky , everything cleared..Engine / trans / steering/ firewall and now long water...
Almost ready to drop in the 350..mechanical fuel pump gonna require a notch in the frame just behind the stock motor mount...want to run...
Heavy duty cross member in place for 350 chevy , set back is 6 1/2 inches more previous from stock location on subframe ..may have to notch...
