you could use the east wood rust paint. last time i used it they told me it could be top coated with almost any paint/ bed liner
you are worried about the car being dirty.......so taking a rag and scratching the shit out of the paint when you smear around the road grime is...

yup its only the tranny hump. mounting it straight to the frame gets them really low as well with stock suspension
they mount them so high so they dont have to cut the floor for the tranny hump....i mounted mine right to the frame and built a hump.
chevelle headers will not fit without modifying. i've tried. why not just run cheap block huggers. arent they only like 45 bucks

started with only a 29-29 closed car cowl and the rest is all from scratch. the drivetrain is all from a 46 chevy and its a 216. the dash is a 34 unit
