I took all the caster out of the 27 and it stopped the wobble but would “ hunt”. Drove it like this till I could afford new spindles.
If you use an older manifold make sure to use a 2732 flat plate adapter, even old Edelbrock intakes have problems with Edelbrock carbs.
I had the same problem on my 27 track roadster 327/350, after batteries and starters I finally replaced my old cables with 00 , problem solved.

Had similar low speed wobble on the 27, after all the typical “ fixes “ found out it had a bent spindle, hard to see from above, easy to see in a pit.

I couldn’t have said it better, its not the price that got me but the posts of the wheels being wrong, and the tie rod problem that some perceive...
