Not real easy to relocate the radius rod mount on a Model A torque tube like it is on a V8 torque tube. [ATTACH]
Halibrand quick changes for the model a have a torque tube bolt pattern smaller than the V8 and larger than the model a. Modify the A torque tube...
No it won't. Elongate the holes in the model a torque tube.
I have 327's in a couple of cars including the avatar. I've shown them here in the past. I have more in inventory including this stock bore 1962...
I used an F1 axle and springs on my Henry J. It's not a direct fit but with some fabricated mounts it worked well.[ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Thanks. Scroll back to page 119 around March this year. I posted converting back to stock latch. The bottom corners of the drain trough had holes...
Yeah, it would be nice to see the dyno sheets to see what exactly is going on. Without that info it's just a guess.
They should have run the dyno pull up to 6500 rpm. You more than likely would have got your 350hp.
Sounds like a good plan to me. Good luck with it.
Nice sedan! If you have a place to keep it stored, protected and not out in the weather, it doesn't eat anything, keep it. You'll probably regret...
I've been messing with SBC's since the mid-late 70's, especially 327's. They are great engines. Here's the last two I built . Happy birthday...

I love 327's. My first hot rod engine in the 70's was a '68 327 in a '52 Chevy pickup. My '35 Chevy coupe has had a few over the past 40 years. A...
And... this why Pete doesn't frequent this site anymore. Please explain executed correctly.
Sorry I'm a day late. Just got this one on the dyno today.[ATTACH]
I originally built this car with '39 Ford tail lights. (who didn't?) They point to the sky instead of the rear. I always kept an eye in the rear...

It looks like the new avatar is an indication of the next version of this cool hot rod.
Back in the early '80's I didn't have these parts when I built my coupe. I filled the handle hole and adapted a VW latch with a pull cable to...

[ATTACH] We built this sedan (with a 32 tank) for a great guy 25 years ago.
I prefer good old 327's. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
