'39 Ford Clutch & Brake assembly. These are the parts used to add juice brakes to '35-'38 Ford. Unit was disassembled, media blasted, all...
I had a 79 Ford Courier PU that had a seat like that.
In 1965 a friend and I went behind the local GMC dealership and spotted a 283 shortblock that had been put in the dumpster after it had been...
Yup, getting hard to find on the loose. Don't trash it until you find a better one--it is fixable.
I have that suspension on my full fendered '32 Sedan, built in the 80's. As V8 bob said above, it is one of the best handling, steering and...
A bit of advice to folks using the Speedway T-5 trans adaptor. Cut an inspection window in the same area that Ford had on the original 3-speed. It...
$3.45 in ND for non corn premium.
32Phil will have what you need. Great guy to deal with.
FYI the small nails that Ford used to attach the metal to the wood have "serrations" along the length to keep the nails from working loose--they...
I use "purple power" from Walmart, about 50/50 water solution. Works well.
I blocked off both sides on my 276" merc, I think it eliminates vapor lock. At least I've never had any.
When reality bites him in the ass he will lower the price to something more reasonable, just might take awhile.
Outstanding work Sir!
Drake's inner fender panels are not available right now, who knows if they ever will be.
That guy looks just like "Joe Dirt" if you've ever seen the movie.
That is some very impressive work!

In the early 80's I parted out a few '32 Ford sedans, was selling complete sets of window garnish moldings for $125 & was happy to get it. Oh, well.
A rochester 2G small base carb will bolt on to the mercury intake, run it backwards and the fuel inlet is right where the merc fuel pump is. They...

Great, thank you. Simple and effective.
Would you show the brackets you built to allow the '32 chevy hood latch to operate. Thanks so much for the build thread!
Cut that cracked piece out and weld in a new piece of steel, then drill the hole for the box. You don't want to try welding all those cracks!
I parted out a '39 4-door, it had the removable center piece. All the coupes (39 & 40) I've had used the one piece rear molding. I'm no expert.
Please leave the fenders in place, removing them would completely change the direction of what you are doing with the car. IMO.
I just went thru this: the std. car nose piece will fit the truck hood but the commercial nose piece is just a little bit longer where the hood...
Used to use Omni paint, switched to Nason--still economy paint but an improvement in my opinion.
After having done several, I have found that it can be a combination of several things, the most important being the hinges at the cowl and the...
Try that in a small town.
Might be a 40 pick-up. Look at the P/N inside, will start with 01C for pick up. That latch handle sure looks like a truck version to me, they are...
