I am not sure on the slotting of the sheet metal but if it is easier, I have a decent grille I will part with. just pm me.
I could really use the grille and fenders and hood hinges if you are willing to part with them.
I finished the frame graft using 1969 firebird front subframe. working on installing motor currently. Check back for more pictures soon.

The front track is only ! inch narrower than the pontiac. Wheelbase on the S10 is 8 inches long but there is a perfect spot to shorten the frame...
Just bought a 1991 s10 for frame swap. Should I use the entire frame and suspension or just the front half?
I was talking with the guy I bought the car from and he said it is a deluxe 6. Chev engine.
y body is different than the chev. Definitely Canadian built Pontiac. 115 inch wheelbase.
I now have the option of using an s10 frame, and possibly a chevy frame from 1940. Which way to go?

How did the car perform with this conversion? Is it worth the effort to find the 58 parts as called for or should I follow some other direction....
I did find a suspension upgrade on another site that uses 58 pontiac control arms, as they have ball joints rather than king pins. 65-70 chev drop...
Well, she has to be a true rod with just the right stance. Pontiac v8 with 700 r4 trans, custom built interior, you know the speel.
