The Jalopy Journal
I think they are cool box stock. I have 2 '65 convertables projects now and my 1st car was a '63 Spyder convertable. Cool is a state of mind.
I like it alot. Ed Roth and George Barris are two of my heros and this reminds me of their work.
Amazing video. Thanks for posting.
I never saw any clear ones before. I did see some nice chrome ones on ebay, $170 shipped.
I've always enjoyed Austin the most when I see the city limit sign as I'm leaving.
Great pictures, I love the black and white one. Looks like a vintage shot.
These would look good as 8x10.
I have 3x392, 2x354, 1x 330, 1x291
Some look good with and most look better without chopped tops. My '31 has never been chopped and I plan to keep it that way.
I'd love to see some pictures of the build.
Some nice cars!
Nice work!
Unreal pictures....... Amazing!
The average driver can't safely handle 75 mph, I can't imagine them at 85.
Beautiful car. Good luck with the build.
Awsome! Congrats!!!
My condolences for your loss. What a beautiful car. If it were mine, I'd keep it as nearly original as possible, but I'm sure you'll do it justice.
Sending my prayers.
Since this will be my first Hemi build, I will have my dad inspect my work, plus I have a good friend that owns an engine machine shop who's been...
Very nice, great job!
I brought the head to my friend at his machine shop. He complimented me on the work. It's not hard to do, just time consuming. I bought the...
That's cool. If I had it, as tempting as it would be to make a gasser out of it, I'd restore it back to original the day it left the factory.
[IMG] Here's what I have done so far. I'm enjoying it, just taking my time.
Also, thanks Gatz. I didn't see your post earlier. I just ordered it. I hope it'l answer many of my questions. I also ordered a well used '58...
Thanks Greg.
Complete Chrysler Hemi Engine Manual Engines 392, 354, 341, 331, 330, 325, 315 Can anyone who's read this tell me if it's as good as it sounds?...
I really enjoyed that. Thanks for posting.
Does anybody know the stock tip length?
I wont be where I can access the valves for awhile , but the springs were red which I'm pretty sure wasn't stock for '55. I'd like to use stock...
I really don't want to use those if possible. The 2.080 valves I mentioned were Ferrea F1636 340 Mopar. I've found some 2.020, 3/8, 5.050. 225
