Now that you mention it, I can see that seems to be the case. The car came with the 55 Chevy taillight kit, but neither the lenses or bezel fits
The last pic I posted is the 55 Chevy tail trim. Possibly just a poor fab job

When we put the car on jacks and put it into drive it would just barely spin the tires when you gas it
unfortunately this did not work for me
if the cable is not adjusted the transmission would still be pushing fluid then right? so im looking at torque converter not installed correctly...
just thinking now im sure that electical wire is the reverse light on the trans. duh!
so get a book and properly adjust it first before pulling?
I did over fill it, but still nothing. Trans might be coming out tomorrow
Did have it idling in neutral but nothing. If the pump was bad wouldnt it whine? Or not always?

ive been told coca cola and marvel mystery oil in spark plug cylinders and crank motor over (without sparkplugs) and let the oil and cola squirt...

The only thing is that the 318 flex plate bolt pattern is to small for the torque converter.
so do you think its the correct one for my 55 dodge?

Its a nice little motor and a lot of pep when you step on it. It lays rubber pretty good.
