my wifeand i built this one a few years back, nothing in the car later than 1950 and no aftermarket stuff at all

the real 51 movie car was chopped so much that the 51 rear window had to be sunk down into the panel behind the rear window and not a real pretty job
the hemi of course,easy to work on and gobs of torq.
just about ready to finish this one, built 5 or 6 others along the way, it always seems to be put on the back burner
the 39 is the one you want, the 40 is not the same. i wouldn't want to cut and weld my brake pedal
use the 39 pedals, see vern tardels a-v8 book and it will show you how to make the mounting bracket
