I,m using a 85 chevy pick up 5-lug rear end under my 31 fordor. havent got to the front end yet.

pull the head just nuts and bolts, it will be easy to fix whatever the problem is in the garage, but would suck to be pushing it home. good luck,
i found an overhaul kit for the original w/ new ring/pinion gaskets bearings ect for about $600 but that is allot of bread what do you all think?
Better gears meaning more highway freindly and not so worn out and noisey. the noise is mostly when turning right slowly and when i am on the gas....
