Sorry,I bypassed the starter solenoid,hooked the battery directly to the starter and it fired up,sadly I couldn't keep it running. Bad fuel...
I did spray carb cleaner inside the carb but was afraid it was going to backfire...good to know I was in the right direction... Thanks...a new...

Just replaced the plugs it made a world of difference.. Wires next..they didn't have them over the counter... I was going to do an oil change but...

Apparently the older gentleman I bought this from installed a 3.50 9".. Is that why it feels sluggish on first? BTW I installed new spark plugs...
