Well I took the top end of a untouched supposedly 72 lt1 camaro not to long ago and it didn't have screw in studs but they did have 2.02/1.60 valves
1972 lt1 will have open chamber heads and no screw in studs

if its a bop it wont bolt to the 350

882 heads are prone to cracking ,the 4oo turbo will shift by itself
did the lifters build up
they torque at 65 and if you use a long extension you need to add for that

if your using stock vortec head bolts they do not torque the same they are torque to yeild
