I got a fat hula chick off a dash in an old ford, she could use a new skirt but pretty sweet other wise
paint it balck so the oil leaks dont show up. if you cant see it .. you dont have to detail it.
you can stay with stock running gear, I put an s10 5 speed behind my 235 its a great combo
My 1st 216 ran like a champ, pulled it apart and found it had a leather strap in place of mains, it does not get any better than that
