I think they are good motors I've had a few that run pretty good you needa good gear to go with it .

I've got a 429 had the same thing happen .I used two crowbars one on each side and pow.... its out .SORRY did not look at the year...………..

Put one down in a 65 chevy 1/2 ton it would smoke the tires, put like everyone said they like gas.

I had the same thing happed on my 54 mercury 7s are to wide and I went back to 5s an 6s
