56 Golden Hawks had fiberglass fins, all other years were steel. I always thought the short 56 fins looked the best though.
Dont know what there off of but the kit # is Wagner f 13620. That casting # has several different configurations, such as 7/16 24, 3/8 24, 7/16 20...

X 2 on sending it to MSD. Had 1 go bad because the guy gave it a bad ground, Took about a week turnaround and was $75.00 also.
You can also just use a flaring tool. Put the line in it, use the first die and crush till you get the bead you like. Fast, easy, cheap.[ATTACH]

Looks like it has the leather pinion seal? Make sure to soak it gear lube for about a 1/2 hour before you install it.
