    Trans is a '67/'69 Mustang C4 with a Flat-O-Matic adapter. The adapter was expensive but the kit is very complete and well thought out. Everything fit with no grinding or changes.

    I.P. is mocked in place with all the gauge holes, switch holes, and light locations. Dash will be bonded and screwed in eventually after all the steel braces are in place behind the dash.

    Rear trunk area made from ash wood bracing with marine plywood for the floor. Using West System epoxy to do the bonding with cabinet wood screws to do the calmping until the epoxy sets. All wood will be sealed with 3 coats of epoxy resin before priming and painting.

    Trial fit of the 32 Ford dash and '65 Mustang steering column. It's a "No Billet" car, trying to build it as someone would have back in the mid 50's but with some updates. Using new materials but trying to keep the flavor of the 50's.

    Fuel tank and Battery tray. Tank is a 12 gallon marine tank. Filler will be behind the seat and hidden. Battery will be a size 27F to add weight to the rear to offset the heavy flathead motor up front.

    Using a Flat-O-Matic kit and the '49 merc half bellhousing mated to a stock '67/'69 Mustang C4. Dipstick and tube are also stock mustang parts. Kit uses a small 10" Pinto style converter. Should help the low end proformance.

    39,000 mile original '49 Merc engine was completely gone through by a previous owner who then sold the car and the next owner wanted a OHV engine. Engine started and ran well with good oil pressure after almost ten years in storage. Will install it stock for the initial shake down runs.
