I’ll try that I hadn’t thought of that. I might try it but it only happens in a narrow speed range so it might be hard to catch it. Weird thing...
I’ll try checking that kind of stuff, but everything you listed is new (2k miles) on the coupe. The roadster has @20k miles on it but I haven’t...
I’m sure they are but I’ll check them anyway.
I can feel it through the wheel, and seat. Road surface doesn’t seem to affect it.
Both pitman arms are definitely tight.
I’ve had as little as 28 psi in them - no difference. I’m back at 32 psi. because they’re small and carrying a sbc.
I don’t know who made the boxes. They both came from So-Ca but years apart. Neither one has any noticeable play. As for the torque on the pitman...
I've got two '32 Fords and I have the same issue with both of them - what feels like an out of balance tire from about 62-66 mph. They're both...

@guthriesmith, thanks a bunch!
@guthriesmith - if you could measure one without too much trouble that would be great. Thanks!
Thanks @guthriesmith. If I knew where the original drop is measured from I could probably determine my drop. Perch boss to kingpin boss maybe?
I have a ‘37-‘41 dropped axle but don’t know what the drop is and don’t have a stocker to compare it to. Any tips on determining the drop?
Super. Thanks
I have a TH350 that is stamped 17Z479208. I believe 1=Chevrolet, 7=1977 and 479208 is the last 6 digits of theVIN but can’t find anywhere what the...
I’ve had this picture for a long time. I don’t remember where I got it but the chop looks perfect to me and I’d like to know how much it is. My...
Looks like an LS to me.
For the metal work you could try checking with Austin Speed Shop or Martin Bros. Customs. I’m sure there are others too.

Much better looking than the previous one. I always thought they were hokey looking. I run Texas YOM plates on mine.
Not a fuel cell but I used a 14 gallon tank from Tanks standing up in the front of the trunk which allowed me to maintain a decent sized trunk....
I’ve got a ‘32 roadster with a 3” chop and no wiper and a “32 5-window with a 4” chop and a single wiper. Personally I like having a wiper on a...
When it hits it hits pretty hard. Usually at highway speed.
Anybody out there know of a good spring shop in the Austin/San Antonio area? I have a Model A style spring and need the eyes on the main leaf...
I’ve got Cooling Components fan/shroud units on both of my ‘32’s with 350 sbc’s and they keep them cool even in 100°+ Texas heat. They both have...
I don’t remember how long I’ve has it but my Makita has been solid for a long time.
Good looking Tudor. I had one for over 40 years. Great car.
Not on a sedan but I run the same tire on the rear of my Deuce roadster and my Deuce five window, both hiboys. I run 28 psi in them both and have...
