thanks for the info, should the linkage attached to the trans have plastic bushings? i dont , just wasnt sure
car shifted fine. cant go from 2 to 3. 1st to 2 fine. 3rd to 4th fine. hurst comp. plus old school shifter. any ideas?

thanks for responses, i would have just filled w/ 90w gear lube. how do u fill with chassis grease?
i think my manual steering box lube has leaked out over the years. anyone know capacity and weight to use?

lol, now i'm totally confused. my o-ring groove was on inside (towards diff.) when i removed axle. is this incorrect?
wow never knew that. i finally gave up and took axle to napa to have bearing pressed off. was going to buy bearing from them, but the picture...
what's the best way to warm bearing w/o ruining the rubber seals?

gonna try chisel method. would napa carry these bearings? i've found prices from 40 to 85 bucks each. are yukon axles a direct bolt in? love sedan...

just checked cap. looking at underside of cap, some of the plastic around brass terminals chipped off.:confused:
