a c-6 trans will use 65 horse power. thats a lot to loose from a small block ford. c-4 will work just fine. c-4's are cheap to build too.
you need 10 psi per 1,000 rpm at operating temps. read Smoky's book " How to Hot Rod Smallblock Chevys"

a ford c6 trans will use abt. 60 to 65 hp . not the most economical trans to use considering the price of gas these days.
pay close attention to proper torque specs and torque in the right sequence. use some 5/16 guide pins or bolts so you can drop the manifold...
i use metal rescue to clean out motorcycle gas tanks all the time, works great. wouldn't leave it in more then abt. 12 hours. good luck!
the blue module is the best choice. if you can, a used motorcraft is better then the crap the parts stores sell these days. an old ford mechanic.
you should have 10 psi per 1000 rpm minimum. a little more isn't bad. a lot more just robs horsepower a higher rpm's. built a few nascar engines...
