I have driven my ‘40 over 11,000 miles this year. Average 18-20 mpg. I hope to drive it at least another 2,000 miles before the end of the year.
All of my ohm meter connections have the black wire plugged into the common terminal.

[ATTACH] I found that this lower radiator hose was longer from the water pump to the bend and it might work for you. I needed it to clear my sway bar.
