IIRC the 413 has a rocker shaft assembly on each head. I would certainly remove them before attempting to rotate the engine. It's just a few bolts...

I'm looking for a way to use propane or wood for fuel without having the flame in the shop. Wood boilers are the answer but they break the bank.
