I'll be in the market for some 40-48 loaded backing plates. And I'll need to pop the drums off and do some measuring too I guess.

The plan is for them to go under my model a sport coupe.
I was told the front end was out of a 39. The spindles are the round backs. From what I understand I can't use 36 drums with 40 backing plates....

If the engine has a bit of angle back and to one side it could explain the one cylinder fouling if u have a drip.
