We had some guys like that in the machine shop, called them "bit machinists", as in take off a little bit until it (kind of) fits.

Just realized you are building ladder bars, so two inch would look a bit odd but this 11/2"×.188 wall tubing would work with correctly located...
If you are set on square tubing and plan on doing any serious racing I would find the heaviest wall two inch tubing available, such as 3/16" or...
I'm not the wheel police but those elongated spokes and rubber band tires say seventeens or bigger.
