IMO the best intake for a SBC is the victor junior. A buddy of mine runs it on his well built 350, in his '55 and the performance is great.
Simply put... The thumpr is comparable to an RV cam (not worth changing IMO)... You'll want to go with the Mother Thumpr for the extra kick
