well, I found a scrap piece of 1/8" plate and stuck it in the vice just for reference to see how much give there was just with my hand,.......

ok, thanks for the ideas everyone. a little dab of blue rtv and a few split washers on a few of the screws did the trick.:cool: I've tested it...
I gotta say,...I love speedway motors!:cool: not even 24 hours from ordering and I have a box on my step. I wish I would have got the screw on...
I've used hammertone on chassis stuff and framework,stuff is very durable and looks darn good once its set. the spray bombs arent a big deal...
