Get some power valves with synthetic plungers.
No doubt, Charlie is the best.
I find you get a better and quicker "squirt" with the synthetic pumps.

Actually on the 8BA water pumps, the pulleys are positioned further out form the engine to give belt clearance.
I've got the 12v 3/8 Milwaukee impact drivers. One the handiest tools I have. Have 3 of them. Got a 1/2 DeWalt for the big jobs.
You'll never notice the difference in performance. Now the sound is another matter.
I have the Neway motor and have never had a problem.

If you don't drill a hole in the thermostat, air is trapped below the thermostat so the heated water is not in contact with the stat. DRILL THE HOLE.

I set the fuel level just a little below 1/2" --15/32"
T The center outlets are round in Merc blocks. Fords are trapezoidal.

Does the base of the spark plug fit flush with the combustion chamber?
