There's a guy in Michigan that takes these junk CVR's and converts them to solid state. No more problems.
Maybe it's the 57 that won't. I seem to remember something like that. Thanks.
Could I swap carriers from a 58 and 60 9"? I have a 60 that's open with highway gears and a 58 with posi and 3.50 gears. I want to switch them.
A good place to research or ask would be squarebirds.org good people and they may know.

Thanks 40cpe. The engine seems to sit too low and it's using the mounts you see on top. The ones on the bottom may fix my problem but I wonder why...

Car starts but won't turn off with the key. Bad solenoid?
With only the battery and starter hooked up [No wires to the small terminals] I'm getting 12 volts to the "I" terminal, key on or off.
12 volts to the I terminal. With the key on or off. Something is off.
