Saw this at a fundraiser at Nelson Ledges near Warren Ohio.
Been awhile since I posted. Waited on front wheels since March. Slowly getting there.
Bent up some top rails
Made up this little fixture before cutting the front axle. Works great, fully adjustable for width and drop. Cheap too. Maybe this will help...
Finally got the front axle narrowed. ✌️
Shortening the rear-end. One part at a time.
Just getting some roll bars bent up for the 'ol girl.
Just messing around in garage. Putting things away for winter.
Did this about a month ago. Closed up the top to match up with the top of doors.
Did some side panel mock-up[ATTACH]
Played with the wheelbase at 115". Maybe stretch it to 118/120" I'm bored waiting on my 2.5"OD tubing.
Cleaned up inside of body. Put in some air holes so gas tank hole wouldn't be only one.
Picked up two Model A door tops that were cut off to make a Roadster. $20 at swap meet. Put windshield support in then sectioned and chopped door...

With doors mounted playing with cowl ideas now.

Cut the doors and got the body angle mocked up. Because the World needs another Comp Coupe.
Played with some wheel placement ideas.

Made some door hinges today for the Comp Coupe body.

Trunk is part of the body to me. Very cool build you have. Besides what made this class so cool to me was the diversity. So that's keeping it real...
Cool looking ride. Don said probably next year for it to be running.
