Yes on the fuel pump, had to put a check valve in the line at the tank.
And NO you can't see it from the rear....or side. Its sticks up in the bed just enough to get the cap off. [ATTACH]

I'd look into changing the pattern on the truck, changed mine to 5 on 41/2 and never looked back...

This ^^^^^^. Stopped using header paint years ago, this paint holds up quite well, easy to touch up.
