Older batteries always tend to corrode more. It may be time to consider replacement before it fails. Particularly in something I need to depend...
Gee, I don't know. Just how much length is required to shorten something?
I don't know about that, I never considered it. But here's a possibility for you, a C4 Corvette drive shaft. They're all aluminum, around 28" long...
I'm thinking he bought it, brought it back to life and then it ate him.
I had one very similar to that that I bought new in the mid-70s. But the logo on the dial on yours looks to be of an older style than that. I'd...
That's why I have so many ex-wives, trying to stay a step ahead! ;) Sent you a PM that I hope may be of some help.
Good stuff. I'd love to do a flattie but I've got nothing to start with. On the other hand, I've got a garage full of SBC stuff. Whadaya gonna do?...
Thank you for that disturbing mental image. But I know what you're sayin'! ;) Too fucking nice! Gorgeous color too. It's very similar to a color...
Another good thread full of invaluable info. Subscribed to, thanks.
While I'm not a big fan of the 305, it's actually got as much potential as any other SBC of similar displacement for a street engine operating...
Check with Wile E. Coyote, he's been known to use a lot of their products..... Ah come on, you knew someone was gonna say it. ;)
I like both but I've always wanted something with zoomies on it. I suspect you have the same hankerin'.... :D
What the hell, I'll take two! Damn, I didn't know they ever made stock ones! :D
That is sharp! If you want it and can get it for $500-600, I'd buy it.
Since I trust y'all's opinions (yes, gratuitous sucking-up here) ;) I'm wondering what you think about a steel '32 shell with a stainless grille...
Beautiful, much better already. But I must take exception to the thread title. That is completely bass-ackwards! What you are doing is bringing...

That depends on many things, like how it was prepped and the environment in which it's stored. Prepped and stored properly, it would be no problem...
I rebuilt a 255 SBF in a square, early 80s T-Bird one time. Talk about gutless, it wouldn't pull a sick whore off of a piss-pot! :D I've seen...

Man, stuff like this chokes up even an old cynical bastard like me. Kudos to all.
It's been awhile but I think autotrader.com has a section for older and special interest cars. It'll get a lot of exposure there from real buyers....
Oh yeah, that's much better. :D
