Easter is this weekend, but we are going back next weekend to see what we can pull off the 50 Merc. Also going to see how much of the 34 will hold...
Here is the best merc, the other was scattered by a log skidder. I talked to the guy, I can pull the 34 outta there if was of use to someone.

Here is my 47 pickup, I planning on black steel wheels, 41 Ford caps and blackwalls. For paint colors I bounce between a brown, or dark green....
Had this for years, 6-71 & a fresh engine added last year. One day it will be done enough to paint one color.

What kind of bearing clearances did you run? I am running 0.0032" on the mains and 0.0025" on the rods. This is my first "competition" engine...
