You can hold on to the spring while someone is pushing down on the suspension. It sure feels to be the springs. It is both sides. The oil slows it...
I have just finished my 58 apache. It has a 71 camaro front clip. Everything is new, including the springs. Has a real bad squeak at slow speeds...
i think the salesman had to be wrong. bob drake would not spend that kind of money and put sedan doors on it.
Just finishing up a 58 apache and I used a 65 mustang tank. Fits great between the framerails and filler neck comes thru bed floor.
I do love the 39 and 40's. That 39 top is right on tho. Love ur car.
