Using a six point socket is a good start. Grinding the bevel off the entrance to the socket can also help so you’ve got contact on the whole depth...
Electric supercharger. Think they do very little. Made by Oberhauser or Oberhausen iirc.
No idea about your axle but that supercharger set up is way cool! Probably has all the blow of an asthmatic ant but way cool. Have you got the...
Are top of all the valve stems the same height when closed? Are all the pushrods sticking up the same amount when closed?
Are you sure they’re 75cc. There doesn’t seem to be any listing for those heads with that chamber volume. You could skim the heads.
Pic from google for reference, dont look hard to make. [ATTACH]
Top 2 are Kong, bottom Meyer. You can see the attachment point for the Bowden cable on the body. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
If it’s a modified part rather than aftermarket. I wonder if they used a Lucas V8 Pilot distributor. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Depends what the crank is like if you don’t need a new crank I’d just go 327. 200cc is quite large for a smaller street motor.
Do what @Kerrynzl said (Give it some more initial timing and see if it feels better)
3rd photo I believe is a Fageol Twin Coach engine (they used two of them in their buses) fitted to a Kurtis Indy car chassis. Details here...
No experience of v12s. But on other stuff my thoughts are always two carbs direct, three carbs progressive. When you look at what manufacturers...
I think Miller made carbs as well as the engines.
Despite all the fast stuff I’ve had over the years this is probably my favourite [ATTACH]
Water is getting in to the sump and raising the level so it’s probably higher than the sump pan hence the bigger leak than usual. Drain the oil...
Lucas used something similar. They had an acorn nut and a brass washer that you splayed the copper HT core over. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Back when I was young/dumb/cheap I used to use a whetstone.
From the 62 service book (step 1 was disconnect the battery) [ATTACH]
Being too tight and the disc not sitting perfectly against the flat face of the drive flange is what I was worrying about.
I know this is a bit late but I think your issue might centre around the relative flatness of the disc/wheel/hub faces or that you’ve not machined...
By boiling do you mean it’s overflowing? What does the temperature gauge read? could be as simple as a the radiator cap when it’s hot feel...
I come up with the same as Squirrel from here https://www.thewrenchmonkey.ca/products/auto-parts/sealed-power/428p [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I’m thinking Triumph. This plate here held on by two rivets will have the actual part number stamped on it. [ATTACH]
I guess with my daft idea the critical bit is going to be leaving enough of the flange to close this off. And distributor clearance [ATTACH]
This is properly outside the box, separate the water crossover from the intake and turn the intake round. No idea if it’d actually work but in...
Fucking idiot aren’t I! Blowing the horn not blowing a fuse. Doh!!
The bit I don’t understand is why it’s blowing the fuse. The horn contact grounds the horn circuit and the horn makes noise. If the collar wasn’t...
Looks very much like an Armstrong lever arm shock fitted to all manor of British cars in the 50s/60s. If you can find a number cast into the arm...
Wheel hub static surpressors maybe
Still not a 360hp fuelie like in the pic
