Thanks, that would be same as bug screen, was hoping to find a puck type filter that's not to restrictive-but protects a little..
Yes Sir[ATTACH]
just a bug screen for now-trying to find some 2.5" puck filters, can't find anything with search's yet.
used 2.5" ID pipe and had muffler guy spread base just a little bit-he did perfect fit
when you can't find what you want-just make them, didn't want that store bought look.[ATTACH]
These are the BIG97's on a 355" with 525 lift cam, AFR heads, runs good-I have them because that's what I want to look at !!!! [ATTACH]
Thanks, Budget
first pull with the trailer, it pulled great, didn't even know it was back there.[ATTACH]
another member made me these scoop filters, I took mesh with panty hose over it and seem's to not be too restrictive, we'll see.[ATTACH]
Thanks, Anderson sent me 1 to try and they fit great and look good, he's sending 2 more,
OK, that was for A/F pre made, I was looking for making my own idea"s---- if I violated some rule please tell me and I won't post....
Thanks, I was thinking panty hose, but thought they might be restrictive?
has anyone found a good material that's not to restrictive on air flow and holds up, I've searched for recommendation's and found no good...
I'm in the minority-but I don't think it look's bad..
3psi is a little high, I run just under 2psi on 3 BIG97's.
Thanks, I alway's buy non-ethanol (who knows what I get?) I"m at point of needing to drive and check a plug.
Thanks, I really only care about idle and up to 3-3500 rpm (cruising).
doing everything with no scoops or filters on it, Thanks
Joe, just came in, 1. unhooked linkage 2. backed off all 3 idle screws 3. made all 6 a/f screws 1 turn out 4. plugged dist advance 5. warmed up...
Normally when you advance timing it will raise your idle-which means you close throttle plates more down.
Thanks Joe, will do as you say for a starting point.
Idle is 700 vac is 13" PV shouldn't be involved at idle?
I would just as soon not have you trolling my post that I was looking for positive help.....
low pressure 4-7 electric pump and Mallory reg, set at 2psi, checked with 3 gauges
Really, do you have anything else Negative to say today, I have what I want and BTW this T-Bucket does have GO.[ATTACH]
Well, what you don't realize is!!!!!!!!!! I'm running this in a 2,000LB car and trust me a light car with flaws will scare the shit out of you....
